I have started from a capital D letter created in the Ligre workshop in Typography class at Elisava. Starting from that letter we were asked to create a word as a lettering where we designed the other letters needed to form the word. Once the design was done, we experimented with different effects and textures to give it a finish in tune with our concept.
The idea revolves around language barriers. Wouldn't it be ideal if everyone spoke the same language? Ideal is the same word in Catalan, Spanish and English, the 3 languages I interact with on a daily basis.
