Project that focuses on an existing problem in the Gracia neighborhood as a result of the gentrification and eliticization of this area of the city. The old Mercat d l'Abaceria is currently a wasteland where debris and dirt accumulate while waiting for the materialization of a project of the Barcelona City Council for the construction of a new large-scale market accompanied by parking spaces. Clearly this is not the will of the local residents, who believe that this is a good opportunity to give a green lung to the neighborhood by building a park in this place. In fact, the neighbors are gathering signatures to voice their position on this problem.
In this situation, what kind of city do we want to live in? We have launched a question with the shape of a flag: Vida o Consum? (Life or Consumption?).
